This is an update to our most recent review. We are delighted to report that Wang's food is even better than last few visits. The mu shu is especially splendid; the potstickers also excellent. The service and atmosphere is also great.
Food selection, quality, freshness, and taste were all pretty decent when compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Fast delivery also helped!
We came here for lunch, it was perfect. The lunch special was super reasonable. I ordered beef noodles and it was only 13, very tasty. Service was great too. The restaurant however, looked old but hey, everything else was awesome. Best chinese food around here, coming from someone like me that eats at Rowland heights and san gabriel all the time. Palm springs had nothing good so I tried here.
Classic strip mall place that needed refurbishing about 20 years ago but never got it. However food, soup and entree, were just excellent. I am not a gourmet but I love Chinese food, lived in Manhattan and lunched twice a week in NYC Chinatown - and Wang's food was great. Egg drop soup with interesting thin wafers of pastry served almost too hot to eat. A large portion of Beef Lo Mein, enough for two of my meals. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. They have a great large menu, missing only eel (not surprising this far from cold water) and I'll be back to try other things from the large assortment. Lunch platters, dinner specials, not a fancy date place but a place to go for a great meal.
We came here from a friend's recommendation. Glad we did; it's just 2.7 miles from our house. The food was delicious and plentiful! We each had an order of egg rolls. Tasty! Then our main entrees came, Sweet & Sour Chicken (all white meat). We also ordered the Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce (with a plethora of veggies). Both were very good! We'll be back for sure! It's in the middle of a strip of stores & restaurants. the waitress was friendly, and efficient! They have about 6 tables and 5 or 6 booths.
Standard Americanized Chinese food that's really good and tasty. Fast and friendly service and plenty of leftovers to take home. Definitely recommend this place. Great lunch specials too!
Had lunch here today. Our first time. My wife ordered the mu shu park and I ordered the sweet & sour pork. We shared both dishes. Service was great and both dishes were very tasty. Not too many places make sweet & sour pork crispy but even the last bite it was still very crispy. Will definitely return.
